Wings Theatre makes its performance space at 154 Christopher available for rental for showcases, rehearsals and special events at many times throughout the year. Non-profit rental rates are noted below. Some seasonal or bulk discounts may apply. For-profit rates are somewhat higher and are available upon request.
Our policy is to make the theatre available even to new (and struggling) theatre and dance companies, and independent filmmakers whenever possible. If you cannot afford even our modest rates, email rmooney1@verizon.net and we will try to work something out.

Wings is one of the most spacious and well appointed Off-off Broadway houses available in the city. It is a proscenium style theatre with 71 fixed seats, and can accommodate up to 99 with additional seating. The on-stage acting area is 20' x 20' and also sports small 'side stages' left and right. Rentals are straightforward with no 'hidden fees.' Rentals include the theater, lobby and dressing rooms and basic black velour stage curtains. As a courtesy to renters, certain rentals include use of Wings' lighting and sound equipment on an as-is basis. For a modest additional charge, Wings is happy to provide box office staff and services including a reservation line, on-line reservations and credit card acceptance.

* Rehearsal space and rentals by the performance include only the portion of the stage forward of the midstage traveler (approx 12' X 20'). Side stages available only by special arrangement.
** Use of Wings' lighting and sound equipment is provided as a courtesy and is made available on an as-is basis. No representation is made as to the type, number or condition of equipment that may be available at any particular time.
*** Renter must either demonstrate they have experienced, knowledgeable technical staff on hand, or hire Wings' tech staff at an additional fee.
Please note the following:
1. Wings reserves concession rights and the right to solicit contributions at their discretion at every rental performance unless those rights have been purchased in advance by Renter.
2. In NO case does rental of Wings include use of or access to the office. Wings reservation line may only be used if Box Office Services have been contracted in advance.
3. Terms: 50% deposit due on space reservation. Payment in full due 90 days in advance of first rental date. All payments are non-refundable. Rental is cancelled and deposit is forfeited if second payment is not remitted as scheduled. Rentals arranged less than 90 days in advance must be paid in full at time of reservation.
4. Non-profit rates for rentals are set below cost. To recoup the difference and make it possible to continue to offer these low rates, Wings requires that the renting organization furnish, in advance, dates and times that they will be using the theatre for rehearsals and performances. Wings then reserves the right to rent the space to other organizations at times the theatre is not scheduled for use by the primary renter.
